PU for CHE : VAAL RIVER CAMPUS
At the Vaal River Campus of PU for CHE, we designed all the academic facilities.
This includes the new Iscor Centre for Telematic Training.
VAAL TRIANGLE TECHNICON
At the Vaal Triangle Technicon we were responsible for the design of Academic Block 26 incorporating the School of Arts and Crafts. We also designed the latest addition to the hostel complex. An indoor cricket academy were designed and documented, but constructing were postponed.
Our pride and joy is the grandstand for the rugby and athletic stadium. The steel structure won an award as runner-up in the structural/functional category of the SA Institute for Steel Construction's annual awards competition.
SCHOOLS IN SEBOKENG
We were designers of an untold number of Primary and Secondary Schools in the Vaal Triangle, Northern Free State and Qwa-Qwa. Our clients were the Provincial Education Departments, the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Education in the House of Assembly and the current Gauteng Department of Education.
Iscor donated a primary school to the community of Sebokeng and appointed Trinamics for the civil and structural design. The school was a standard primary school, but did also include complete sport facilities and a school hall.
